Performance Matters Dialogues: Art, Performance, Film

This dialogue about dialogue itself was recorded as part of the research project Performance Matters , and features filmmaker Hugo Glendinning, who collaborated with Adrian Heathfield for the Performance Matters film series Crossovers; documentary filmmaker Mike Dibb, most widely known for his groundbreaking television series with John Berger, Ways of Seeing (1972); writer Deborah Levy, whose recent long form essay Things I Don’t Want to Know (2013) positions itself as a response to George Orwell’s essay Why I Write; and respondent Alan Read, Professor of Theatre at King’s College London.  The conversation took place as part of Dialogues: Art, Performance, Film (London: Rich Mix, 30 January 2014), and was chaired by Gareth Evans.
